Note on data: The Wii console has internal memory storage capability similar to a personal computer, and there may be customer messages, photos or game save data that should be removed if the customer wants to retain them (Information on how to do this can be found in the Wii operations manual). CGS cannot be responsible for loss of any such personal data that is not saved or removed. Customers may also have Wii points or game downloads that they will no longer be able to access if the Wii console is exchanged. On this basis, all Wii hardware should be handled directly by Nintendo Service Centre and not exchanged in store. Failure to follow this procedure may result in permanent loss of Wii points, game downloads and any personal data stored in the Wii system memory points, game downloads and any personal data stored in the Wii system memory.
